little dark inside, 2022
‘little dark inside’ is an improvisation of multi-media performance collaborated between Alöis Yang and Wei Kang Beh that explores the performativity and melting point between visuals & sound, light & darkness, laser & ice, occultism & science, data & noise, memory & translation, and the-self & the-space through amplifying a tube-shaped corridor at Studio Alta.
Utilising laser, D.I.Y robotic arm, mirror, solar panel microphone, dark room, fan, ice, hydrophone, feedback system and smoke, the performance seeks to speculate and exert the morphology of light, water and noise in an obscure spatial environment.
